The heartfelt thanks of the Web Mall Staff goes out to those who have helped with photos, articles, and other information. It would be impossible to mention everyone but we wish to single out a few. Special thanks to Kathleen Grant. Kathleen has been the Web Mall advisor supreme from the beginning until going on to other projects in 1999. She set up the cgi script that allows the Antonio Admirers mailing list, chat room and both the Comment Board and Ramble Room to operate. Others whose photos and info have added to the Web Mall include Sharon C. who generously provided Tan sólo un actor, Antonio's Spanish biography and our Antonio "Bible", and she also sent other gifts from her trip to Spain; Paulo for his great reports from Spain, Daisy, Miho, Marina, Meg, Toby, Vickye, Wendi, Sandy and Helen. And a special salute to two people who encouraged our original involvement with Antonio, MotherJ (Barbara) and Tamara , the founder of the newsletter, Antonio Admirers. And thanks to all the other contributors we haven't named here.

The success of Evita, The Mask of Zorro and The 13th Warrior, has brought Antonio brand new fans, some of whom had scant knowledge of his history and background. So it is to this group that this website is aimed. It is our hope that you like geography and history -- well, mostly recent history from 1960 to the present.

For you old-timers, it may be a bit of deja-vu but the Web Mall will keep you up to date on all things Antonio and provide a place for you to meet regularly with many others who appreciate the talents of our favorite actor.

A note from Sandie:
If you're a true Antonio Banderas fan, there's never enough of him on the web. However, for nearly two years, I was content to have merely an ftp site for photos. I never seriously considered adding my own website because I felt I would only duplicate the efforts of others. I didn't want to diminish the impact of those Antonio web pioneers. I feel that tribute should be given to the pioneers, most particularly Vanessa (webmaster of the original Antonio site) and Kathleen (Mini Mart webmaster who expanded our horizons and communications by first introducing the comment board and chat).
