1. When we decided to switch web hosts, we thought we'd be able
to move our old boards with us with no problem. Well, we were
wrong. The old boards are written in a programming language that
none of us know. The scripts for our site were rather complex,
even for those familiar with the language, and the support from
the original script authors is not at all user-friendly or even
moderately helpful. We enlisted outside help from at least three
different sources, but we still weren't getting very far with
getting them to work. So we've decided to go with this style of
forum, which is something we can modify and make work ourselves.
It is well-supported by the authors and relatively easy to modify.
It isn't perfect, but then neither was the old board, especially
with regards to maintenance. So let's make this board our new
home! There are some added features that hopefully will make the
new board more user friendly. Check out the new features here.

2.
Right now, you do not have to register to read any topic or all
the posts within that topic. You can post to topics as a guest
as well. But if you register, you can use your name to post instead
of showing up as "guest" each time you post. Also, many
of the features of the board are not available to you unless you
are registered and are logged in. If you don't wish to register,
please remember to put your name in your posts so everyone will
know who you are.

3. Registration doesn't automatically log you into your account.
You have to log in each time you visit, or, if you place a check
in the "Log me on automatically each visit," you'll
be logged on next time you open the message board. Remember, though,
this only works if you don't click log out before you close the
browser window. It also requires a cookie to be placed on your
computer. If you have your browser set to not allow cookies, or
if you have it set to delete cookies after each browser session,
you'll have to log in each visit.

4. You can post a picture a couple of ways. If you have the picture
uploaded to a website, you can post it by following the instructions
on this page.
If you do not have webspace where you can upload your picture,
you can still post your picture by following these instructions.
Or you can send your photo to one of us
and we'll be happy to post it for you!

5. Posting a web address/link is similar to posting a picture.
Follow the instructions here.

6. If you posted as a logged-in user, you can edit any post you
have made. Open the post you wish to edit and select the edit
button in the top right corner of the post. Your message text
will appear in a box similar to the one seen when you post a message.
Make your changes, then select submit to post your edited message.
See the button location here.

7. If you posted as a registered user, you can delete a post you've
made as long as you are logged into the board and no one else
has responded to the post. If someone has responded, deletion
is no longer an option for you. However, a board adminstrator
can still delete the post. To delete an unanswered post, open
it and click on the blue "x" in upper right corner of
the post. See a screenshot here.

8. Yes, if you've posted as a logged-in, registered user and you've
provided a valid email address when you registered. You also have
to check the box "Notify me when a reply is posted,"
above the preview and submit button in your message (see
what it looks like). You have to check this before
you submit, or obviously, it won't work! However, you can edit
the message to add a request for notification if you wish. See
question 6 for instructions for editing a message.

9. You can contact another user in a number of ways other than
on the message board. Registered users may allow you to see their
email address in their profile. They may also have provided you
with various instant messaging usernames to try. You may also
use the private message function by clicking on "You have
no new messages" to open your private message inbox. It is
a straighforward process, you just have to know the registered
user name of the person you wish to contact, then post a private
message just like you would a post at the message board. If anyone
sends you abusive or offensive private messages, please let a
site adminstrator
know at once. Note that any private messages older than 30 days
may be deleted by us at any time, perhaps without warning. Your
other option for contacting another poster is to use the And
whatever else... forum.

in a current pictures gallery, contact information is here.

12. To save a photo posted at the message board: First, if there
is a black band at the bottom of the photo with the statement,
"click here to see the full size image" click the photo to open
it in a new window, then use your right mouse button to click
on the image and choose "save image as..." in the menu that opens.
Select where you wish to save the image and click save. If there
is no black band below the image, simply right click on the image
and save it as described above.

13. There are four categories for posting:
Current Antonio News is what it says, anything
you've found in the news about Antonio should be posted here.
Any news photos can be posted here also. Of course, discussion
of these news topics is welcome. Posts that are not Antonio news
may be moved to the appropriate category at our discretion.
Banderas-mall
Updates is for us to notify you of new items here at
the mall, such as new current pictures, updates to any our pages
(such as the recent update of the Films section), monthly calendar
wallpapers and many new features we've got planned.
Antonio!
This forum is for any discussion of Antonio's older film
roles, where to find films, why you like Antonio, and most anything
else you can think of as long as it's about Antonio. The Kiss
Book link is here. Please post your Antonio inspired artwork here
too.
And
whatever else... Wish someone a Happy Birthday, or discuss
a new non-Antonio film in this forum. If you need to contact someone
and can't get an email through, you may use this forum.

14 . It's still here, but it's now called "Community"
and you can access it directly from the index page. It's been
split into two categories, Antonio!, for general
discussions of Antonio and And whatever else...
everything off topic. We'll be changing the Ramble Room link in
our header for another use soon.

Comment spam? What's that? Please don't waste everyone's
time with posts that only say, "I agree," or "Yeah,
that's great!" We aren't going to delete every post from
our guests like this, but if you make a habit of comment spam,
even if you are a registered user, your posts will be deleted,
with no comment from us.

Have
you got a question that isn't answered here? You might find the
answer at the FAQ page associated with the message board software,
located just under the Banderas-Mall header. If you still can't
