Revelations Entertainment is owned, in part, by Morgan Freeman and is one of the producers involved in this film. From their website:

“A scintillating crime thriller surrounding a master thief (Freeman) and a stubborn protégé (Banderas) as they attempt to steal the infamous Russian Faberge eggs from an impenetrable vault. With every twist and turn the two men are drawn further away from the underlying “Thieve’s Code”.”

According to Variety: The film is about "a veteran thief who recruits a younger crook to help him pull off one final job in order to repay his debt to the Russian mob."

Mitchell has been cast as a temptress whose romantic liaison with a thief - played by Banderas - threatens to come between him and his partner in crime.

Filming started in early October 2007 at Brighton Beach and after only a few days moved on to Bulgaria where the film crew received a warm welcome from city officials including the mayor.

Shooting in Bulgaria is scheduled to last until the end of December 2007. Morgan Freeman is scheduled to depart in early December and Antonio will remain until the end of shooting.
